Welcome to Mrs. Tickenoff's 4-6th Grade Classroom!
Hi, my name is Mrs. Tickenoff and I have the privilege of being your teacher this year! I hope you had a wonderful summer and I can’t wait to hear all about your summer adventures on Monday, August 8th.
I was born and raised in Chino and grew up as a CVUSD student. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from California State University San Bernardino and a Master's Degree in Teaching, along with an Education Specialist Teaching Credential from Brandman University. This will be my fifth year teaching at Glenmeade Elementary.
I have no doubt that this will be a fantastic year! See you soon!

Our Fantastic Team:
Mrs. Cullimore is our classroom instructional aide and works incredibly hard to keep up with daily homework, as well as, planning and executing engaging lessons during her small group rotations and monthly art lessons.
Ms. Ayla is our wonderful support aide to one of our awesome students. She goes above and beyond to help out in and out of the classroom and also helps plan our fun class parties.
We are so fortunate to have them both :)
School Supplies:
-I will have all of the necessary supplies ready for the first day of school, but you are welcome to bring any of your own :)
-We tend to go through pencils, erasers, and dry erase markers the fastest.
-Donations are definitely not required, but are always appreciated. If you are interested, here is a link to our Classroom Amazon Wishlist.

Communication:
-I use Class Dojo, Aries Portal, Google Classroom, Google Voice Texting, and weekly newsletters to communicate and keep families updated throughout the school year. To ensure we are all connected, I will be sending out digital links and contact information in the welcome back letter (coming soon) and Back to School Night presentation.
