    ASA works to increase public awareness of autism, provides information regarding treatment and education, and advocates for individuals living on the spectrum. 

    California Department of Education- Special Education Division
    The CDE oversees the state's public school system, which is responsible for the education of all students in California. CDE is in charge of enforcing education law and regulations and continuing to reform and improve public school programs.

    Coalition for Adequate Funding for Disabled Children
    The SSC advocates for educational agencies in California; providing information, consultation, and education.

    Department of Rehabilitation (DOR)
    The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) administers the largest vocational rehabilitation program in the country.

    Inland Regional Center (IRC)

    Parents as Partners
    Parents as Partners provides community, information, and support to parents of children with special needs.

    West End Special Education Local Plan Area
    The West End SELPA is a multi-district Special Education Local Plan Area, which includes nine districts. The SELPA is responsible for assuring programs are available for all students with disabilities. The SELPA assists districts with program development and coordinates regional programs, provides technical assistance and administrative support to the districts to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, and provides staff development and training for educators and parents.
