Welcome to United States History!!

Welcome to OUR Classroom! I am excited to meet each and every one of you and get to know your story! I have been teaching for almost three decades…and I love it! I’ve lived in Chino and Chino Hills most of my life and graduated from Chino High School back in the day! I have a Masters Degree in School Administration and a Bachelors Degree in History/Social Sciences and Communication. My career has included working at Ayala High School as a Freshman Honors Teacher as well as a School Administrator here at Canyon Hills. My children took precedence and I left the front office and moved back into the classroom after I became a mom! I have also authored a book on Autism to help parents dealing with special needs find hope, inspiration and resources!

I have two adult children, my daughter graduated from Azusa Pacific University and is studying to be a teacher while working at Islands in the community…and my son who has Autism, works at Albertsons! In our spare time, my husband, children, and myself enjoy boating, snowboarding, hiking, playing with our two labs, traveling and cooking. Looking forward to teaching you the history of this Amazing Country and simultaneously finding ways to be more kind, empathetic and loving towards each other😊
