Free Online Tutoring

Paper What it has to offer: Online tutoring is available for any subject 24/7 through live chats within seconds (no video chats). Sessions are unlimited. All chats are monitored and saved to make sure students are appropriate. Answers will not be given. Students will be guided to discover the answer on their own. Written assignments can be uploaded for feedback within 24 hours. How students access Paper: Students can access Paper through their Classlink. Ask your teacher or call the school site with any questions.

Data Confirmation on the Aeries Parent Portal

All paperwork that is traditionally filled out each summer is now ONLINE through the Aeries Parent Portal. Please complete the forms, which are located under the Student Info > Data Confirmation tab in Aeries. This can only be accessed on the desktop version of the Parent Portal. Online Registration Now Available

If you are the parent/guardian of a student(s) you would like to enroll for the first time at CVUSD, you can now do most of the enrollment online! Click on the "Read More" hyperlink below to begin the online enrollment process. School site personnel will then contact you regarding further registration requirements. If you are unable to access the Internet or if you need assistance with the enrollment process, contact your school site. If you are the parent/guardian of a current student at CVUSD, no action is necessary until you receive more instructions from your school site.

Briggs' Associated Student Body (ASB)

ASB stands for Associated Student Body and represents the interests of all Briggs K-8 scholars. Students who participate in ASB foster a positive atmosphere during the school day which encourages students to feel connected to their school. Briggs’ ASB students aspire to ensure a well-rounded K-8 experience though collaboration, planning and organizing activities such as dances, Spirit Days, assemblies, and community projects throughout the year. Our ASB students are mentored by Mrs. Collins.

AVID

Briggs’ Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Program, is a College Readiness System dedicated to preparing all students for college, career and other postsecondary choices. Students receive a rigorous program of instruction in academic "survival skills" and college level readiness skills. The AVID program teaches students how to study, read for content, take notes, and manage time. Students participate in collaborative study groups or tutorials led by tutors who use skillful questioning to bring students to a higher level of understanding. We love Mrs. Bader, our AVID Coordinator!
