    GENERAL

    We are holding a blood drive with Life Stream!  It will be held Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 1-5 pm here on campus.  You may sign up at lunch next week in front of ASB.  Only students who have a free period may give blood during school time.  Students may sign up for after school. 

     

    ATHLETICS

     

    Students interested in doing stats or filming for boys basketball this season please see Mr. DeLeon in the Counseling office. Students must be available throughout the season including winter break and away games. Experience with stats is preferred but not necessary, we can and will teach you.

     

    Students interested in trying out for boys basketball team please see Mr. DeLeon in the counseling office to sign up. Students must have a physical and be cleared through athleticclearance.com for boys basketball before you will be able to tryout. Specific tryout dates will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

     

    ACTIVITIES  

    Shout out to the CLASS of 2023!!  We will be holding a meeting during lunch in room 103 on Wednesday September 11th to plan our homecoming float.  If you would like to be a part of your class float please join us at lunchtime to help plan and begin making decisions.  Bring your friends, the more people we have the better our float can be. 

     

    Homecoming is just around the corner! Homecoming nominations may be turned in by any club, program (such as LEAD, theater, yearbook, etc.) or sports teams on campus.  Nominees must have a 2.0 GPA at the Spring Semester grading period ending May 31, 2019. Underclassmen nominees will have male and female nominees for Prince and Princess while King and Queen candidates will come from the Senior Class of 2020. 

     

    Conquistadores!  We want to see you nominate!  Pick up a nomination form from ASB or see your advisor or coach!  Please turn in by Wednesday, September 25 by 2:30 pm into the ASB office.  Voting will be on Wednesday October 2. The Homecoming Court announcement assembly will be at lunch on Friday October 4.

     

    CAREER CENTER AND COUNSELING 

      Did you miss the University of Redlands presentation?  Don’t let that happen again!   There are some great college and military presentations in the Career Center.  Next week, UC Santa Barbara, University of Arizona, Army, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Soka, University of the Pacific, and UC Davis will all be here.  Sign up in the binders outside the Career Center.

     

    Are you interested in taking the ASVAB Career Exploration test?  Testing dates will be set for October and February and are open to all sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  Sign up at the Career Center today.

     

    What’s your plan after graduation?  Are you considering Chaffey or Mt. SAC?  Did you know if you do the application process through the Career Center, you can complete most steps on campus and you’ll get an early registration date?  The Chaffey and Mt. SAC application process starts in October.  Sign up today!
