I have always known that I wanted to become a teacher since I was a little girl. I was in the second grade and loved being in class I would have a bad day if i missed school. I have many fond memories of those summer days of giving my brothers and sister homework just after teaching them a day of classes in our small room at home. My parents would come home and smile and tell me to keep up the good work, as I will do great things as I get older.
I am the eldest female of five children, I have one older brother. I am the only child whom finished college at both Bachelors and Masters level of study. For the most, they all started but chose not to finish. I am a goal setter and a finisher. I may struggle at times however will work that much harder to obtain what I see is there that I am working towards.
I am a wife and mother of two children, both at universities this year. One is playing a sport while studying sports medicine, while the other is studying to be a History teacher. I have had some health concerns which had taught me to eat better as well as physical fitness for fun. I had learned the truth about food as well as fitness. I was able to complete a 1/2 marathon with Crossfit training. I have a passion for Olympic weight lifting, and being out hiking. I do not let any disabilities get me down.
I believe that every student is smart and that they just need to unlock their given talent and skill. Eduation is the key in our future.
