Senior Announcements, class rings and all items ordered from Josten’s will be given during cap & gown pick up on Friday, May 8th.




Cap & Gowns

Cap and gown distribution was May 12, 2020 4 PM - 7 PM

  • If you missed pick up, you may get your gown at the Chino High Office 9 AM - 3 PM (Knock hard on the door)
  • All new orders will be mailed direct or must be picked up at the Josten's office 14144 Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710
  • Direct all questions about orders to Josten's 909- 464- 9063

NOTE: Mail orders may take longer than usual, please monitor your tracaking.  Boxes may be torn, because UPS, USPS and FedEX are santizing boxes. Be sure to take inventory and make sure that you receive all of your belongings.

Clubs and Athletics: See your club advisor or coach for cords and stole information.

Graduation Photos: Yearbook photos will be used for the virtual graduation.

  • If you did not take a senior portrait: Please share a picture at the link below. It can also be found on the school website. All pictures need to be submitted by Thursday, May 7th.

Photos must have these requirements:

  •  Picture should only be of you in a formal (as much as possible) outfit.  Please no wording on clothing.  
  • Picture should be taken up close and should be at least from the waist up.  Think of your traditional yearbook picture you have taken in previous years.  Most of these portraits are taken at chest level.
  • No snap chat type of filter or frame should be used.
  • No hats.
  • No sunglasses.
  • Every senior’s name will be announced along with his/her picture. 


Graduation Program: Graduation programs will be printed and sent to student homes. (1 per family) A commemorative graduation ticket will also be mailed with programs.


Virtual Graduation:

Virtual graduation will be streamed on May 27th @ 7pm on CVUSD and Chino High School Social media. There will also be a link to the graduation on the CHS website. 

  • What will the virtual presentation look like?
  • The order of events will be similar an in-person ceremony.
  • Pre-recorded performance of the National Anthem.
  • Pre-recorded speeches by your ASB president, valedictorian, and class president.
  • Pre-recorded speeches by Mr. Miller and the CVUSD board president.
  • Each student will have their picture shared, along with their name announced.
  • Names will be announced by Mr. Schumann and Ms. Mitchell
  • The district will be using your senior portrait you took for the yearbook.

Summer School

Textbook and Laptop Return 

Textbook and technology return will take place May 28 – June 12 from 9AM - 2PM. Students will return in alphabetical order. The schedule allows for social distancing and limited gathering.  Please see below.

If students have left textbooks in a teacher's classroom, the teacher will return the books.

Students taking summer school do not need to return laptops until summer school is over.  However they do need to return textbooks and check out on their designated check out day.

  • 12th Grade:
    •  May 29th (A - L) & June 1st (M - Z)
  • 11th Grade:
    • June 2nd (A - L) & June 3rd (M - Z)
  • 10th Grade:
    • June 4th (A - L) & June 5th (M - Z)
  • 9th Grade:
    • June 8th (A - L) & June 9th (M - Z)
  • Make Ups for All: June 10th








Yearbooks can still be ordered @  Delivery has been delayed due to Covid 19.  Books are scheduled to ship on 5/26. We are hopeful that books can be distributed during textbook and technology return.
