CVUSD Celebrates Multilingual Recognition Awardees
Congratulations to this year’s Multilingual Recognition Awardees! During a dinner hosted by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools at the Double Tree Hotel in Ontario on April 28, 2023, six outstanding representatives of the Chino Valley Unified School District will be honored for their dedication to improving the achievement of English Learners. Each award recipient received a nomination from a District or school site administrator.
The goal of the annual Multilingual Recognition Dinner is to promote the quality of education for language learners by recognizing the dedication of individuals and students who have significantly contributed to the learning of others or their own learning.
This year’s recipients include:
Administrator: Lisa Conetta-Lee, Rolling Ridge Elementary School
Teacher: Patricia Schultz, Butterfield Ranch Elementary School
Classified Staff: Carol Sin, Hidden Trails Elementary School
Parents: Rosa Mercado, Alicia Cortez Elementary School
Arminda Gonzalez, Chino High School
Student: Nathalie Jen Reclusado, Ayala High School
