CVUSD HOMEOn Saturday, April 22, 2023, students entered the Walter Pyramid at Cal State Long Beach poised to compete against some of the finest color guard teams in the region. By the end of the day, the Canyon Hills JHS team emerged victorious.
Traditionally, a few hundredths of a point can separate teams from earning a spot on the winners’ podium. Our outstanding Coyotes, however, scored more than a point higher than the second-place team to capture the coveted title of Champion!
The team’s distinctive performance not only captured hearts, it inspired the imagination to visualize the extreme creativity and athleticism it takes to put together and perform an award-winning production.
