CVUSD Shines at County Science Fair!

It’s that time of year when science rules! Twenty-three CVUSD student science fair projects advanced to the 2024 San Bernardino, Inyo, and Mono (SIM) Counties Science & Engineering Fair after earning a trophy finish at the district science fair in January. Students from grades 4-12 displayed and explained their scientific discoveries and methodologies as judges evaluated each contestant's work.

Overall, thirteen CVUSD students received medals, Thirteen of our student projects earned medals, with six earning the coveted gold and a one-way ticket to April’s virtual California Science and Engineering Fair! Additionally, Leila Maleki will represent CVUSD at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in May in Los Angeles.

Congratulations to all our outstanding scientists who participated in this year’s county science fair! And good luck to our gold medalists advancing to the state competition!
