15th Annual Julie Gobin Memorial Hit the Greens for Scholarships Golf Tournament

Another successful golf tournament is in the books! Rain or shine (in this case, rain) the 15th annual Julie Gobin Memorial Hit the Greens for Scholarships Golf Tournament continues to provide funds for senior scholarships. Despite cloudy skies, the dedication to our CVUSD students shined brighter at the Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills, CA.

Hosted by School Portraits by Adams Photography, sponsors and donors made this event possible with their generous donations and support. Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for seniors pursuing post-secondary education. Shout out to participating CVUSD schools who donated gift baskets for a raffle held during the post-tournament dinner!

A total of six scholarships are allocated for each of the district's five high schools. These scholarships include the Superintendent's Award, the President's Award, and the Spirit of CVUSD Award. Scholarships recognize academic excellence, leadership, and resilience. All graduating seniors who will be attending a university, college, or technical school in the fall are welcome to apply for one of the three scholarships.

Launched in 2009, the golf tournament has raised nearly $400,000 through the generous support of donors, sponsors, and golfers. Named in honor of former CVUSD Director of Communications Julie Gobin, the golf tournament gives post-secondary aspirations a jump start.

Thank you to our supportive golfers for swinging for student success and supporting graduates as they begin the next leg of their educational journey (one putt at a time).
