The highly anticipated U.S. News and World Report Best High School rankings are here, and Ayala High School has moved up from the top 10% to the top 8% of all ranked public high schools in the nation! The U.S. News & World Report ranked 17,655 public high schools out of nearly 25,000 reviewed, using six indicators of school quality: college readiness, college curriculum breadth, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rates. Based on these metrics, Ayala scored a 91.93, up from 89.09 in 2023, and is ranked 1425th nationally and 193rd in the state of California!

Ayala HS offers over 25 AP courses with a 55% participation rate of seniors who take the opportunity to better prepare themselves for college. Student performance on the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing and on the California Science Test (CAST) places Ayala in the 86th percentile for math, reading, and science proficiency while underserved student performance metrics are above the state average.  The Bulldogs also boast a 99% graduation rate, an important indicator for how well a school is serving its students overall.

Congratulations and way to go, Bulldogs on your improvements, accomplishments, and dedication to academic excellence!
