AP University Returns to Help Students Prep for Upcoming AP Exams
CVUSD is proud to offer AP University to its driven advanced placement students! For the last three years, AP teachers districtwide have joined students enrolled in various AP courses for Saturday study sessions held at the District’s Professional Development Center (PDC). During each session, students learn various test-taking strategies and have an opportunity to get an extra AP practice test under their belt before taking the exam on campus.
This year, AP University offers two four-hour practice sessions in Biology, Spanish, English (12), Environmental Science, and Chemistry. Participating AP teachers volunteer to teach a session, giving students access to different approaches and additional material covering subjects. Students are free to sign up for as many AP University sections as they want, given that they are enrolled in that course at their school site.
It’s not too late for students to sign up for one of these phenomenal sessions! AP University runs from the end of February until the end of April. As AP University expands, additional AP subjects will be offered for students to take and better prepare for their exams.
A special thanks to the wonderful AP teachers who lead the Saturday sessions and dedicate their time and knowledge to motivate AP students. Good luck to all students taking exams in May!
