Ayala Engineering Students Present at City of Chino Hills
Student Engineers Present Bridge Project to City of Chino Hills Officials
Ayala High School Engineering students designed Bulldog Bridge, a pedestrian bridge to problem solve student foot traffic and provide students a safe way to enter campus. On January 24, 2019, six teams of Principle of Engineering students led by Michael Collins, BVROP Engineering Teacher, presented their Ayala Pedestrian Bridge Design Briefs and 3D models to the City of Chino Hills Engineers and several council members. We are grateful to Councilman Ray Marquez, Vice Mayor Art Bennett, Senior Engineer Carl Hassel, Public Works Director Nadeem Majaj, and Mr. and Mrs. Casillas for making this possible. What an exciting and tangible way for students to impact their community!
