Andrew Cruz was elected to the Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education in 2012, and reelected for a second term in 2016.  Born and raised in Southern California, Andrew attended California public schools and received a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Psychology Social Sciences from University of California, Irvine.  Andrew also received a Single Subject Credential in Biology and a Master's Degree in Library Management System, LMS.  In the spring of 2014, Andrew received his certification from the California School Boards Association Masters in Governance program. My priorities for CVUSD are to develop and prepare our students for the 21st Century workplace, maintain excellence in student achievements and outcomes, increase the graduation rate, and provide a foundation for continued learning and discovery.
