COVID-19 – Employee Self-Reporting

It is no longer necessary to report a positive COVID-19 test result to your administrator.

Employees who test poistive no longer have to isolate for 5 days.  Per California Department of Education, stay home only IF your are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, until:

• You have not had a fever for 24 hours - without using fever-reducing medication AND other Covid-19 symptoms are mild and improving
• Recommended to wear a mask when you are around other people for 10 days after you become sick or test positiove.  You may remove the mask if you have two sequential negative tests at least one day apart
• Recommended to avoid contact with people of higher risk for severe COVID-19 for 10 days
• Recommended to seek treatment if you have symptoms, particularly if you are a higher risk for severe COVID-19

Any absences due to COVID are to follow the same protocol used by your school site or department for reporting sick leave (with the additon of the online self-reporting form.
