Although the sun has set on their K-12 education, our CVUSD seniors are getting ready to watch it rise over the next chapter of their lives. Congratulations, Class of 2025! We are so proud of you!

The CVUSD Board of Education Is Accepting Applications for Trustee Area 4 Vacancy

On July 25, 2025, the Superintendent’s Office filed with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools a letter from Mr. Jonathan Monroe resigning as a member of the Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education Trustee Area 4. 

Per Education Code 5091, the Board of Education approved a provisional appointment timeline to select a person who will serve until the next regular election in November 2026.

Legally eligible residents of Trustee Area 4 interested in applying for this vacancy are required to complete an application. The application period is August 15, 2025, to August 29, 2025. Completed applications must be submitted in person between the hours of  8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications submitted via U.S. mail or electronically will not be accepted.

Annual Parent Information Forum - August 27, 2025 @ Chino Hills High School

The District is happy to host its annual Parent Information Forum on Tuesday, August 27, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chino Hills High School multipurpose room located at 16150 Pomona Rincon Rd. in Chino Hills.

Attendees will join CVUSD School Resource Officers (SROs) as they share valuable information regarding substance abuse and the latest trends, responsible technology use, safe social media practices, and handling peer pressure. All CVUSD students, families, staff, and community members are welcome to attend this free event! Attendees will enjoy a free light meal with service beginning at 5:45 p.m., free childcare, and Spanish interpretation. 

We are looking forward to welcoming you to this informative event and having you join us as we continue our work of supporting CVUSD students. 

Optional Device Protection Plan is Available for Purchase!

We know that accidents can unexpectedly happen at any time. That’s why we’re excited to share that the District is offering its annual Device Protection Plan to help cover those unexpected accidents that can occur when your student uses their district- issued device!

When purchased, the CVUSD Device Protection Plan covers accidental damage to student Chromebooks or Windows laptops and is designed to limit a CVUSD family’s financial liability. For a non-refundable fee of $40 per device, families can enroll in the plan for the entire 2025-2026 school year. Damaged devices not enrolled in the plan will incur a $50 incident fee per repair or replacement. 

Don’t wait! Families are welcome to enroll in the program and pay the one-time non-refundable $40 fee by August 31, 2025.

Bus Passes Now Available for 25/26 School Year!

Interested in purchasing a bus pass for your student this year? The Transporation Department is happy to share that bus passes for the 2025/2026 school year are now available for purchase! To learn more about student eligibility and to access your Bus Pass application, please visit the CVUSD Transportation webpage.
