2025/2026 Bus Passes
- Beginning July 1, 2025, families are invited to complete and submit their Bus Pass Application.
- Bus Pass purchases can ONLY be completed online. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
- If applying for a free or reduced bus pass, all required documentation (most current CalFresh Notice of Approval or 2024 Tax Return - Form 1040) must be included with a completed Bus Pass Application and emailed to Esmeralda_Contreras@chino.k12.ca.us or Blanca_Plascencia@chino.k12.ca.us.
To complete your online purchase of a bus pass, please visit My School Bucks and follow the directions provided. Please do not send an application, the MySchoolBucks online purchase will suffice. Please make sure that your address qualifies for transportation before submitting the application and paying the fee.
Just a friendly reminder, intradistrict transfers do not qualify for busing as parents agree to provide transportation when a transfer is approved. After making your purchase online, your bus pass will be mailed to the address provided on the application. Per Board Policy 3541(a) Transportation Routes and Services, “Students shall be eligible for transportation service to and from school if the distance between their residence and the school is beyond the minimum distances listed below:
- Kindergarten 1½ miles from school
- Grades 1-6 2 miles from school
- Grades 7-8 3 miles from school
- Grades 9-12 4 miles from school
All Students must have a current bus pass prior to boarding the bus. NO EXCEPTIONS.
