Speaking to our youth about suicide, suicidal ideation, or depression can be difficult. During the District's annual Suicide Prevention Awareness meeting, Dr. Dianne Vargas will connect with parents, guardians, family, and friends to discuss methods on how to recognize warning signs of suicide, build stronger connections with students in need of assistance, discover valuable resources that can save a life, and take immediate action to protect our youth. Participants will enjoy a light dinner served at 5:45 p.m. before the meeting begins. In addition to Spanish interpretation, the District is thrilled to offer Mandarin interpretation for our attendees in need of services. School staff will be onsite to provide childcare services for families with young children.
