CVUSD Seniors Enjoy 46th Annual Student Government Day!
For 46 years, the Chino Valley Unified school District, in collaboration with the cities of Chino and Chino Hills, have been carrying on a wonderful tradition of hosting approximately 100 CVUSD students during the annual Student Government Day. CVUSD seniors from Ayala, Chino, Chino Hills, Don Lugo, Buena Vista, and Boys Republic High Schools assumed the roles of local government leaders and district administrators to gain first-hand experience of leadership within our community. The day’s activities included a mock CVUSD Board of Education meeting, city council meetings, and completing daily responsibilities carried out by CVUSD school principals.
The culmination of the day came with a luncheon hosted at Chino Hills High School where students and staff shared their experiences and what they enjoyed best about the event. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
