International Program

Process for a new or transfer F-1 status in the CVUSD: 

1. Complete and submit the 2026-2027 School Year Application.
   • Use the checklist to ensure all forms and supporting documents are provided.
   • The $350 application fee is non-refundable.
2. Video chat interview
3. Upon acceptance, a letter will be issued to the student.
   • Pay $18,000 tuition.
4. CVUSD will issue the I-20 Form.
5. Pay the I-901 fee online with the Department of Homeland Security before going to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate Office for the F-1 Visa interview.
   • Communicate with the International Program about your F-1 visa status, including your travel dates.
6. The first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year is Monday, August 10, 2026. Students accepted into the CVUSD International Student Program are required to arrive approximately 1 week before the first day of school for registration and orientation.
