CVUSD Senior Scholarships

Julie Gobin Memorial Hit the Greens for Scholarships

Golfers first teed off in 2009 in support of raising funds for scholarships that benefit CVUSD graduating seniors who are continuing their post-secondary education. Spearheaded by CVUSD Director of Communications, Julie Gobin, the event has been renamed in her memory to celebrate her dedication to students within the District.

Since 2010, School Portraits by Adams Photography has generously taken up the task of coordinating and hosting the annual event. Each year, community partners and volunteers gather to raise funds that will be awarded to seniors who have submitted an application and been selected by the Scholarship Committee. To date, nearly $400,000 has been raised through the generous support of donors, sponsors, and golfers.

Applications for senior scholarships are traditionally accepted from February through April each school year. A total of six scholarships are allocated to each of the District's five high schools, providing two winners per scholarship category. Scholarships awarded include the President's Award, Superintendent's Award, and Spirit of CVUSD Award.

This year's annual Julie Gobin Memorial Hit the Greens for Scholarships Golf Tournament is scheduled for March 10, 2025, at the beautiful Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills, CA.
