  • Starting on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, ALL BLENDED LEARNING STUDENTS (cohort A and B) will return to school on a regular learning model. This means all students will come to school every day, Monday – Friday.

A copy of our in-person/traditional bell schedule can be found at:

You can also find a copy of our school calendar for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year at:

When we return on April 6, 2021, as students enter the school, we will be using our thermal scanner to take temperatures. With the CDC guideline changes, we are no longer required to take individual student temperatures.

Please keep in mind the following important arrival times:

    • 8:10 – Gates open for students having breakfast at school.
    • 8:30 – Gates open for all students; students report to their line.
    • 8:37 – Warning bell rings.
    • 8:40 – Last bell rings, students walk to their classrooms with their teachers.

Kindergarten students will continue with their regular schedule, Monday-Friday, from 8:40-12:00 p.m.

On our regular school days, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, student dismissal will occur at 3:20 p.m. Please wait for your students outside the gates. For parents driving, please pull forward as much as possible to assist with the flow of traffic. Parents will not be able to enter the campus during dismissal time.

On minimum days, all Wednesdays and May 14 and May 27, ALL STUDENTS will come to school for in-person instruction from 8:40 – 12:10. Kindergarten dismissal will continue to be at 12:00 p.m.

Curbside meal pick-up will be available at select schools. To find a list of schools still providing curbside meal pick up, visit the CVUSD Nutrition Service webpage often as there may be frequent changes during our transition back to regular in-person learning. The CVUSD Nutrition Service webpage can be found at:

E.J. Marshall SuperStar families who have chosen Distance Learning for the entire 2020-2021 school year, will remain on a Distance Learning schedule. Students in Special Education small cohorts that returned to school in November 2020 will continue with their schedule of attending classes every day.

As E. J. Marshall SuperStar staff prepares to welcome our students back to campus for daily instruction, the District and school continue to be prepared with appropriate COVID-19 safety measures and Personal Protective Equipment as recommended by the California Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The District has a comprehensive COVID-19 Safety Plan Guidelines for Reopening Our Schools. To view the Chino Valley Unified School District COVID-19 Safety Plan Guidelines for Reopening Our Schools go to:

As we transition to daily in-person instruction for our SuperStar students, I ask that all parents and guardians continue to assist in keeping our school communities safe by screening your children for illness every day prior to coming to school and ensuring that your children have face coverings as prescribed by the California Department of Health. With the health and safety of our students and staff as our priority, we must continue to proactively practice safety measures for ourselves, and each other.

    Thank you,

    Mrs. Verdugo & Mr. Reger
