  • Changing your student's learning model

    The application period to request a change in the learning model for elementary and junior high school students is now closed. If your application is approved, you will be notified by your school site no later than February 12th via your AERIES parent portal. Learning model changes will take effect for elementary and junior high on February 23rd. Cal Aero Elementary-Track D changes will take effect on April 5th.

  • Online Registration Now Available

    If you are the parent/guardian of a student(s) you would like to enroll for the first time at CVUSD, you can now do most of the enrollment online! Click on the "Read More" hyperlink below to begin the online enrollment process. School site personnel will then contact you regarding further registration requirements. If you are unable to access the Internet or if you need assistance with the enrollment process, contact your school site. If you are the parent/guardian of a current student at CVUSD, no action is necessary until you receive more instructions from your school site.

  • Important Meal Charge Policy Update

    (This policy does not affect students on the Free or Reduced-priced school meal program.)

    Effective January 1, 2019, when a student's meal account balance reaches $0.00, Nutrition Services Dept. will extend a $10.00 borrowing limit to allow parents time to repay and replenish the student's account. Once the borrowing limit is reached and a student forgets or loses their money for a meal, they will receive an alternate meal.  The alternate meal will be served until the  unpaid meal debt is cleared and the account is brought to a positive balance.  

    The alternate meal will still be a nutritionally adequate meal and will consist of the following items:

    • Whole Grain Crackers
    • String Cheese (2 each)
    • Daily Fruit and Vegetable Selections
    • Choice of White or Chocolate Milk   

    Alternate meal charges are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and will be billed separtely through the Nutrition Services Department.  To help eliminate the need of alternate meals, Nutrition Services has partnered with mySchoolBucks, an on-line payment service company, to allow for quicker fund deposits into meal accounts.  Please visit www.mySchoolbucks.com and view their check or cash pre-payment options which are also available in the cafeteria.
