  • 8th Grade Promotion Information

     * The promotion ceremony will be held at Woodcrest Junior High       in the Quad at 8:30 a.m. and last approximately one hour.

    * No tickets are required, but seating is limited (Please, no                  saving seats).

    * Students participating in the ceremony need to be at school to     report to their 1st period class at the regular start time of               7:45 a.m.

    * The Chino Valley Unified School District and Woodcrest J.H.'s          dress code policy will be enforced. (See below)

    * Refreshments, flowers, and balloons will be on sale.                           No horn blowers allowed.

    * Students will be able to leave with their parents/guardians at       the end of the promotion ceremony.

  • Dress Code Reminders for the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

     The 8th grade promotion ceremony is May 31st and we would like to remind parents of the dress code for this occasion. Appropriate attire must be worn and follow dress code regulations. These are some of the guidelines to follow: Girls wearing strapless dresses or dresses with thin straps must wear a sweater or shawl. Dress or skirt length must cover the majority of the thigh.  Under garments cannot be visually observed. Ripped or torn jeans may not be worn by either boys or girls. If you have any further questions, please refer to your student's agenda, under the section Specific Minimum Dress and Grooming Standards.

  • Teacher Appreciation Week May 7th - May 11th

    Parents and Students please remember to say THANK YOU to all our Woodcrest teachers this week for the wonderful job they do. Write them a thank you card or bring them a small gift just to let them know that you do appriciate everything they do. Don't forget, if you can read this, you can thank a teacher.
