Cell Phone Policy

  • 1.  Cell phones, and all other electronic devices, should be turned off during school hours and while on campus.

    2.  Electronic devices (cell phones, iPods, smart watches, earbuds etc.) should be stored in students' backpacks while on campus.

    3.  Cell phones may be used outside of the campus gates before or after school.

     

    The following information was presented to students during Expectation Assemblies held in August and again in February:

     

    Cell Phone/Electronic Device Use

    Before and after school OUTSIDE THE GATES

     

    Violation results in phone/earbuds/electronic device being confiscated and returned to parent.

    Consequences:

    First 6 weeks of school:

    1st Offense: Warning

    2nd Offense:  Confiscation, parent pick up and lunch detention

    3rd - 4th Offenses:  Confiscation, parent pick up and after school detention

    5th + Offenses:  Suspension

    7th Week of school - End of Year:

    1st - 2nd Offense:  Confiscation, parent pick up and lunch detention

    3rd - 4th Offenses:  Confiscation, parent pick up and after school detention

    5th + Offenses:  Suspension
