  • Ayala High School Choirs Bring Home Gold Medals from National Competition World Strides Festival

    Congratulations to the Ayala HS Choir! We are so proud of our talented and incredible students for their achievements in taking home several accomplishments and awards during their tour competition in Boston over Spring Break! The Vocal Ensemble earned Gold 1st place, while the Men’s Ensemble and Women’s Ensemble both earned Gold 2nd place! Student Lenard Baronda earned the Maestro Award for soloist!

  • Five CVUSD School Teams Advance to World Finals of Odyssey of the Mind

    An astounding 33 CVUSD students comprising five CVUSD school teams have conquered Odyssey of the Mind State competitions and are eligible to compete in the World Finals this May at Michigan State University! The CVUSD teams to beat are from Chino High School (grades 9-12); Wickman Elementary School (grades 4-5); Oakridge Elementary School (grades 5-6); Canyon Hills Junior High School (grades 8) and the youngest winners from Eagle Canyon Elementary School (grades 1-3)!

  • Briggs K-8 Students Win Regional Rube Goldberg Competition

    Briggs does it again! We are so proud of our Briggs students for taking home first place in the middle school division of the Regional Rube Goldberg competition on February 13, 2019! The Briggs team also earned two community awards, both for Most Creative, from Wells Fargo and from the Garner Holt Productions, Inc. Next stop for the Pigs from Briggs: The National Rube Goldberg competition this spring in Indiana!

  • Suicide Prevention Awareness Resource Materials Available

    The CVUSD Suicide Prevention Awareness event on January 23, 2019 provided information and advice to parents, guardians and the community about how to help students who are struggling with emotional issues. Expert speaker Dr. Dianne Vargas has provided resource materials to community members who may not have been able to attend, or attendees who want written resources that were discussed during the presentation.
