  • Ayala Bulldog Spencer Shuler receives the CIF-SS Champions for Character Award

    Congratulations, Spencer Shuler for being recognized as a 2022 Champion for Character during the 17th annual Jim Staunton Champions for Character Award dinner! Joining an elite group of fellow student athletes throughout the region, Spencer earned the honor by exemplifying the finest in sportsmanship, character, integrity, and athletics that the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) upholds.   • CVUSD Students Serve as Delegates for the 2022 Boys State and Girls State Leadership Programs

    Congratulations to seniors selected to represent their high school and the Chino Valley at this year’s Boys State and Girls State summer leadership programs! Sponsored by local American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary posts, students enjoyed a week of training where they collaborated with other student delegates selected throughout the state and received hands-on experience to increase their awareness and knowledge of our state’s governmental processes.   • 360 CVUSD Students Earn an AP Scholar Award

    More than 600 AP students qualified for an AP Scholar Award for the 2021-2022 school year! The average AP exam score of students enrolled in one or more of the 30 AP courses offered by the District was higher than the average score of students in not only CA, but the world. Congratulations to all the outstanding scholars who earned an AP Scholar Award!

  • Mandarin DLI students invite peers to celebrate the Moon Festival!

    What shone brighter than the moon during this year’s Moon festival? Our delightfully wonderful Mandarin DLI students! Ms. Zhoa and Ms. Zhang invited fellow kindergarten classes to enjoy the beautiful splendor of the Moon Festival as their students celebrated this traditional Chinese holiday.   • CVUSD hosts its first Suicide Prevention Awareness Forum of the school year

    On September 20, 2022, parents, guardians, and community members gathered in the Chino Hills High School multipurpose room to attend the first Suicide Prevention Awareness forum of the 2022-23 school year.   • DLI Parent Information Meetings
    The District is excited to invite parents and guardians of incoming kindergarten students to attend the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Parent Information Meeting on Friday, October 7, 2022, via Zoom.   • West End SELPA Offers 7-Week Workshop
    The West End SELPA invites parents and guardians to participate in its 7-week online workshop, entitled The Parent Project. AM and PM training sessions are conveniently available and focus on providing caregivers tools to effectively parent challenging behaviors.
