• The CVUSD International Program F-1 Visa Program is accepting applications for the 2022/2023 school year.

  • 2019-20 group

  • Students are advised to follow these steps to become a new or transfer F-1 student in CVUSD: 

    1. Complete and submit the 2020-2021 School Year Application - downloadable on the left side of this webpage.
      • Use the checklist to ensure all forms and supporting documents are provided.
      • The $350 application fee is non-refundable.
    2. Video chat interview with the International Counselor.
    3. Upon acceptance, a letter will be issued to the student.
      • Pay $15,000 tuition.
    4. CVUSD will issue the I-20 form.
    5. Pay the I-901 fee online with the Department of Homeland Security before going to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate Office for the F-1 Visa interview.
      • Communicate with the International Counselor about your F-1 visa status, including your travel dates.
    6. The first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year is Monday, August 8, 2022. Students accepted into the CVUSD International Student Program are required to arrive approximately 1 week before the first day of school for registration and orientation.
