School Accountability Report Cards
What Are Accountability Reports?
In November of 1988, California voters passed Proposition 98: the School Funding Initiative. One of the components of this proposition is the requirement that school districts annually prepare and distribute School Accountability Reports for each school. The main objective of the School Accountability Report Card is to inform the members of the community about the educational and environmental conditions of the school and the progress being made at each local site.
The School Accountability Reports are in PDF format and can be viewed online using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download a free copy of Acrobat Reader and also get more information about how to use it at http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html.
