I am Mrs. Blanchard, and I am pleased to be a teacher at our district's Virtual High School. I teach Spanish, Health, Physical Education, Digital Photo, and Dating/Marriage/ and Family. I also teach Middle School Spanish for the Home Based Independent Study Program.
I have been a teacher for 22 years, teaching at various grade levels. The virtual teaching experience is one of the best I have had as an educator. It is so rewarding to get to know my students and their learning styles, and to strive to customize my teaching approach to their educational needs.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from the University of La Verne. I have three teaching credentials: Physical Education, Spanish, and Multiple Subjects (Elementary.) I started my career as a high school athletic trainer. I have taught Kindergarten, Third and Fifth grades, Junior High P.E. and Spanish, and high school Spanish and English. All have been rewarding experiences.  I enjoy working with my students, and offering them support and motivation to help them succeed.

On my Bitmoji page, you will see links to three virtual platforms: Edgenuity, Gradpoint, and Acellus.  There is also a link to my Google Classrooms.

Please feel free to contact me via phone or email, or simply make an appointment to come into my virtual classroom. I look forward to a successful and productive year with all of my students!

    Academic Integrity Reminder:

Academic Integrity is a concept used to address the many facets of authenticity within a student's work. A student who upholds a high standard of academic integrity maintains that the work he or she turns in is authentic and true to the knowledge he or she has acquired.

The technology age has certainly helped people have fast access to any and all information on the web. Because of this, you will see Academic Integrity becoming more of a standard in educational institutions as they begin to hold students to higher accountability measures.

    Academic Integrity means...
    • Your work on each assignment will be completely your own
    • Your collaboration with another classmate on any assignment will be pre-approved by your instructor
    • You will not practice plagiarism in any form
    • You will not allow others to copy your work
    • You will not misuse content from the Internet
