    Schedule:  My hours at the AEC, Monday-Friday, are from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. 

     

    I am Mrs. Blanchard, and I am pleased to be a teacher at our district's Virtual High School. I teach Spanish, Health, Physical Education, and Art Fundamentals. I also teach Middle School Spanish for the Home Based Independent Study Program. 
    I have been a teacher for 26 years, teaching at various grade levels. The virtual teaching experience is one of the best I have had as an educator. It is so rewarding to get to know my students and their learning styles, and to strive to customize my teaching approach to their educational needs.

    I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from the University of La Verne. I have three teaching credentials: Physical Education, Spanish, and Multiple Subjects (Elementary.) I started my career as a high school athletic trainer. I have taught Kindergarten, Third and Fifth grades, Junior High P.E. and Spanish, and high school Spanish and English. All have been rewarding experiences.  I enjoy working with my students, and offering them support and motivation to help them succeed.

    Coursework is outlined on the online platforms. Each subject has its own syllabus. Please refer to the coursework due dates in Edgenuity.  

     

    If you are completing a course in a packet or if you have any questions, please feel free to email here.  Packet distribution and collection will begin the week of August 19, 2024. You will need to make sure you have a matrix from your homeroom teacher before requesting a packet.  Please email your course teacher at the time indicated on your matrix when requesting a packet, and I will email you an invitation to my Google Classroom.
