    Hi! I am thrilled to take this 1st-grade adventure with your child. I am beyond passionate about my profession and truly love teaching 1st grade. The academic, social, and physical growth that happens in first grade is all absolutely amazing. If you've never experienced it from a parent's point of view, you are in for a treat. Truly cherish every moment because it is going to go fast! First grade is a challenging, yet rewarding school year. Your child will learn so much.

Communication

  • Personal messages and class announcements will be sent out via REMIND (see the image on this page to join). The best way to reach me is via REMIND. I will do my very best to respond to messages and emails within 24 hours during the week.

Supplies

  • Please do not send in personal/labeled supplies for your child. All supplies are pulled from our universal supply closet. Please see the menu tab for our WISH LIST on Amazon for items students use daily. Students must bring a full-size backpack to school daily. I'll let you know if an urgent need arises for anything. Please see the menu tab on this page for our WISH LIST on Amazon.

     

     

Birthdays

  • You are welcome to send in a SMALL treat for the children (a donut, cookie, or cupcake for each child OR a small goodie bag) to celebrate your child's birthday. Please have your child carry them to class in the morning or drop them at the office in the morning so that I can distribute them at recess. Thank you!
