Hello, Cal Aero Family! My name is Mrs. Orttel-Parks and I am one of Cal Aero's Assistant Principals. I look forward to partnering with Mrs. Warner, the Admin. Team, and the Cal Aero staff to continue the work of providing an educational experience where the assets and diversity of all students are honored and celebrated.

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University where I received my graduate degree and was a Teacher for America corps member. In my experience in education, I have worked as a Classroom Teacher, a Special Education Program Specialist, and an Assistant Principal at Alain Leroy Locke College Preparatory Academy. I am excited to bring my skills and experience to the Cal Aero community and can assure you that I share in this school community’s commitment to care for your children each and every day while providing them with an exceptional learning environment.

In addition to being an educator, I am also a wife and mother. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our three boys, Tyler, Landin and Lee. We enjoy bike-riding, hiking, and movie nights. 

I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my student-centered approach to serving at Cal Aero. I am eager to partner with you and celebrate our collective success. I look forward to meeting you soon!
