Mrs. Dilley

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Dilley and I am a third grade teacher at Chaparral. I have two children named Max and Taylor. Max is starting at Chino Hills High this year and Taylor is a talented artist. My husband's name is Tony and he is very funny. I love to run and I look forward to running with you when you return to campus.  I have been teaching in Chino since 2001 and for most of those years I have taught the third grade. I absolutely love working with students and their families and I look forward to meeting all of my new students online and in person. We have two class pets named Dartanius and George. Dartanius and George are hairless guinea pigs and you will love them. Our classroom is set up with a jungle theme with lots of animal prints and jungle type decorations. My teaching style is flexible and hands-on . I like to have the students discuss ideas and work together whenever possible. When you come into my classroom it is usually not always quiet, but the students will be learning. I like the students to feel comfortable asking questions and using the best learning style that works for them.  I know that this year is starting off completely different than any other year and it can be scary. I will work hard with the students both online and in the classroom. I look forward to a rewarding school year.
