The Chino Valley Adult School staff remain passionate and hardworking and are one of the reasons why excellence is prevalent amongst our campus’ Academics and Programs. I am honored to work with an outstanding staff who is dedicated to your success.

Hello! I grew up on the East Coast and settled in California in 1984. The culture of the West Coast is so different that I can empathize to some degree with the immigrant experience. I have four children and 10 grandchildren. This helps me understand the needs of students who are parents and grandparents.
Over the years, I sometimes worked as many as four jobs at the same time. Because of this, I appreciate the challenges our working students encounter.
I started in the Chino Valley Unified School District in 1994 as a substitute teacher. When I substitute taught for Chino Valley Adult School (CVAS) in 1996, I knew this was where I wanted to spend my career.
I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for 24 years. In addition to my day job at CVAS, I also worked evenings at Corona-Norco and Chaffey Adult Schools for nine years. In 2001, I became the ESL Coordinator at CVAS. I was promoted to Assistant Principal in 2020.
My passion is adult education. I admire our students who work so hard to achieve their goals. They bring energy and variety to our community.
I look forward to supporting our students to make their time in school meaningful and empowering.
