Brief Discription: Students will master an understanding of the Earth and its many different qualities ranging from our place in the solar system and the universe to the dynamic processes that have shaped our planet and continue to transform it today. Students will obtain this understanding through the exploration of our solar system, astronomy, plate tectonics, atmosphere, and California geology. Students will have access to up-to-date laboratory equipment, science equipment, and technology. This course is aligned to State adopted content standards in science.
