Welcome to the Biomedical Science and Technology Academy! 

My name is Josh Dutra. This is my first year here at BST and with Chino Valley Schools. This year will mark my 12th year teaching high school social studies and the 11th in which I will have taught at the AP level.

Whether you are joining me for AP Human Geography or AP European History, we are going to spend the year exploring the impacts our living conditions and situations have had on the human story, and the impact we as humans have had on our living conditions and situations. We will strike a balance between the AP curriculum and the State Standards. Most importantly, you will leave the class with a deeper understanding of the indelible threads of critical thinking and problem-solving that will be intertwined with your future success, regardless of your academic discipline of choice or career pathway.

I will be available for office hours as follows:

Before school: every day from 7:45 to 8:30

After school: Monday through Thursday until 4pm
