Dear Wickman Second Grader,

     Hello!  I am Mrs. Tedesco, your teacher at Wickman Elementary School.   I am really looking forward to this year.  I hope you are too!

    Second Grade will be full of fun and exciting experiences.  You will make new friends and learn many new and interesting things.  By the end of the school year, you will be amazed at how much you have learned! 

     It will be important for you to get plenty of rest the night before school begins.  Make sure you get to bed early!  When you wake up in the morning, have a good breakfast.  Since you will be having lunch a little later than you did in First Grade, you might want to pack a healthy snack for our morning recess.  August days are often very hot, so please bring extra water. If you are bringing supplies, please be sure they are labeled. If possible, bring them on the first day so we can get organized.

     When you arrive at school, please locate space 22 on the playground. Please line up with our class until it is time for school to begin.  I will be there to greet you and show you to our classroom once the bell rings.

Get ready for a fabulous school year!
