    Welcome to Mrs. Peterson's Blended Learning Classroom for the 2020-2021 school year!

     Blended Learning Expectations 

    • Cohort A reports to the school site on Mondays and Thursdays.  Cohort B reports to the school site on Tuesdays and Fridays.  All students will sign in online to our Zoom on Wendnesdays. Zoom link will be found in the Google Classroom stream.  

    • Students not on campus will have asynchronous work to complete during the school day.  Those assignments will be used to determine attendance so students MUST complete assignments during the school day.  

    • Your child should be prepared every day with pencils, paper and any requested resources.

    • Your child will be expected to follow all Zoom expectations:     

      • Actively participate.

      • Be prepared with pencils, paper, and any requested resources.  

      • Sound MUST be muted unless otherwise directed.  

      • When class has ended, students must close out of the Google Meet session.  

      • Students may use the Chat function to ask questions or make comments about the topic being discussed, but may not use it for other purposes.  

      • Dress appropriately. 

    • Your child will also be expected to follow all in-class expectations:  

      • Actively participate.

      • Be prepared with pencils, paper, and any requested resources.  

      • Be respectful.

      • Be responisble. 

      • Be safe.

     Assignments, Grading and Feedback

    • All assignments will be completed through Google Classroom and should be turned in through Google Classroom.  Assignments should be completed and turned in during the day that they were assigned unless otherwise noted.  
    • Assignments will be graded and returned via Google Classroom.  You do not need to resubmit them once they have been returned unless otherwise noted.  
    • Assessments (tests) will take place through Google Classroom during a Google Meet session.  
    • Some paper and pencil assignments will be graded and sent home as well.

    *To log-in to Google Classroom:

    1) Click the Google Classroom app in your Classlink account

    2) You will then be prompted to enter your student email.  Student emails are your Classlink username and @stu.chino.k12.ca.us

       (for example: jdoe@stu.chino.k12.ca.us)

    3) Your password is your Classlink password.  (for example: jd123 )

    4) Then you will need to join our class and enter the Google classroom code. 

        Our Google Classroom code will be emailed to you through Aeries Communications.   

     

    **To access Wonders through Google Classroom, please click on the ConnectEd on your Classlink page.  Once that is open, you may click on the content attached to your assignment in Google Classroom.  It will redirect you to the content assigned. 

     

    ***To access Pearson (Savvas) Envision Math through Google Classroom, please click on the Pearson EasyBridge app on your Classlink page.  Once that is open, you may click on the content attached to your assignment in Google Classroom.  It will redirect you to the content assigned.
