     My office hours are  9:30am-11:30 am Monday - Friday.

    I use Google Classroom everyday @ 10 am for Video chat on Meet. Google Classroom Page

    I keep in contact with parents through Remind with any information and guidance. 

    I will be available during designated time for any questions to support you and your child.

    Distance Learning - 1st Grade Syllabus 

    1. Students will be submitting their work through Google Classroom, Pearson (Math), and Wonders (English Language Arts). There will be assignments posted weekly, so please stay updated. The link to Google Classroom is above; this is where everything will be communicated.
    2. Grades will be given on Google Classroom when the assignment is completed through individual messages. Feedback and communication can be accessed through chat (messaging)or meet (video chat) in Google Classroom.
    3. Assessments will be on Friday for ELA and Math assessments will be given when the Topic is completed. ELA assessments are given on Wonders website under “To Do”, and Math lessons will be in Pearson Math.  

    Expectations (Policies/Procedures)

    Students will participate in discussions, submit assignments by Google Classroom (if otherwise directed), and access/take assessments online in  Wonders (McGraw Hill), Pearson, and Google Classroom weekly).  All platforms can be accessed via ClassLink. 

    All work is expected to be completed by students (with parent help if need be) to the best of their ability on a weekly basis.

     

     For Music: Ms. Araiza, our Music teacher, is continuing music classes as part of our online learning.  Please log on to her classroom web page through the Howard Cattle website, and enter the following the class code to access her lessons. Keep making beautiful music!
