    Mother's Day

    Mother's Day is Sunday.  Write your mom a Mother's Day love letter or card.  Tell her how much you appreciate all she does for you.

    Mothers take care of us, cook for us, and love us very much.  Be extra kind to her this weekend and help around the house.

    Check out new activities in the tab to the left.

    Epic Books has many books and videos to read and explore.

    These books can be read 3x and take an AR test.

     All work is expected to be completed and submitted on-line on Pearson and McGrawHill.

    Completed written work can be submitted to me via email or a photo on Remind.

    Please include student name and assignment DATE of work submitted.

     

    All students should work daily 15-30 minutes in Classlink on:

    JiJi StMath until 100% completed,

    RazKids, Ticket to Read, Code or Lexia,

    Read a story and take an AR test.

    Practice Word Waves here or on SeeSaw.

    20-30 minutes of physical activity!

    Stay happy: wash your hands, eat healthy and move your body!

    From home on your personal computer, how do I FIND THE CLASSLINK PAGE?

    There are a couple of ways to find the CVUSD ClassLink login page, but whichever you choose, use Chrome Browser:

    *   visit your school's website, then hover or tap on the Student menu and select "ClassLink Access"

    *   enter the following address in the address bar         myclasslink.com/chino

    ***    remember to bookmark ClassLink for faster access next time

     

     Liberty First Grade Syllabus - Remote Learning beginning March 30 

     

    Description:
    During this time, we will be transitioning to distance learning, or online education.

    It is important that you check your teacher’s Class Page daily and weekly. Remote learning will be based upon material that has already been taught in First grade, this school year. In other words, the assignments that students will complete are extensions of what they have already learned.


    *March 30 - April 13

    Students will be required to complete a 10 day lesson plan from the CVUSD district page. Please refer to the link on our Class Page to to access those lessons for your child.

    Following April 13, all students will have access to new classroom assignments, assigned by your teacher.


    Weekly Assignment Dates:

    April 14 - April 17
    April 20 - April 24
    April 27 - May 1
    May 4 - May 8
    May 11 - May 15

    May 18 - May 22

    Assessments, Grades, and Feedback:
    There will be assessments assigned at the end of units to check for student understanding. 

    We will only record grades for summative assignments. Grades will either be immediately reported through the assigned websites.  Feedback will be given immediately.
