I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Charlie, for 34 years! Charlie and I have two sons: Joshua, age 30, and Gabriel, age 31. Josh served in the Air Force and Gabe served in the Army. My dad is a retired teacher, my mom is a retired registered nurse and I have three younger sisters. My family has attended Calvary Chapel Chino Hills since 1995.

I have been with the Chino Valley Unified School District for 48 years. I started at Walnut Elementary in 1977, when I was five years old! I also attended Cortez Elementary, Magnolia Jr. High School and I am a 1990 graduate of Chino High School. After high school, I worked as an instructional aide at Levi Dickey Elementary for four years. I then substituted for a year before accepting my first teaching position at Briggs Fundamental. I have loved teaching kindergarten at BRE for the past 29 years. I earned a Master's Degree in education and my teaching and CLAD credential from Chapman University.
