Our conference is scheduled for the time you signed up for at "Back-to-School-Night". Please let me know ASAP if this time does not work for you and we will reschedule.

Don't forget that every Friday is BRE spirit day - wear your BRE shirt, orange and/or blue. Also, remember to turn in your library book and homework every Friday. For extra homework, log in to ClassLink/Savvas/McGraw-Hill to explore your educational apps.

    Second Step Curriculum Review

    August 16, 2024
    Dear Families,
I am so proud of how well our kindergarten and first grade students are doing following school rules and learning our new routines.
Please have your child practice the ClassLink login I emailed you as part of homework time - they will use the same login with their Chromebook at school. If you haven't already done so, please send in a headset for your child to use with their Chromebook.
"Back to School Night" is Thursday, August 22nd.  Please see details below (no children please).
Homework will go home every Friday - please return by the following Friday.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend,
    Mrs. White

    August 9, 2024
    Dear Families,
Our class is doing an amazing job, and I am so proud of how much we have accomplished so far. As you might know by now, my class will be a K/1 starting on Monday, August 12th. Dr. Acuna made calls to the families that will be changing classrooms, and a letter was sent home for the students who are staying in my class.  I will miss the students who are moving to another kindergarten class and I am excited to meet my new first graders.
Our first homework paper, name writing practice, went home today - please return by next Friday. Online homework will start the week of August 26th (I will explain online homework at Back-to-School night).
Please check for an email next week that includes your child's ClassLink password. Once you receive your login information, please practice learning your password as part of homework time.
Save the date - "Back to School Night" is Thursday, August 22nd . One adult should attend in Rm#1 (no children please).
If you haven't yet, please send in a headset (in a baggy labeled with your child's name) to use with their Chromebook in class.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend,
    Mrs. White
