Thank you for the warm welcome to the Briggs Family.

As the incoming principal of Lyle Briggs Fundamental, I look forward to working with the school

community to support the staff, parents, and students in creating the best possible educational

experience for everyone.

My experience spans over two and a half decades from Kindergarten to high school in various

state-issued curricula to the International Baccalaureate program, preparing students for further

education and beyond. My background is in mathematics, giving me insight into analyzing data

to guide instruction. I have served on various district-level committees, visited schools as a WASC

accreditation team member, mentored teachers and administrators, and led schools through the

improvement process. I am a proud father and grandfather and look forward to getting to know the

Briggs family and community.

We have a lot to celebrate at Briggs and we are going to share our achievements and celebrate the

students, the hard work of the staff, and the support of the Parent Faculty Association and school community.

My door is always open and should you choose, please stop by and introduce yourself as you see 

me at the school entrance and also on campus.
