From now on, you will find the new work in the Assignments tab.
*Google Meet, Remind App, SeeSaw App or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
*Google Meet is a free video communication tool for remote conferencing and meetings.
To access Google Meet, your child will need to:
1) Open his/her ClassLink webpage and click the Google Meet icon.
2) Enter the code. (I will provide you with a meeting code via Remind.) This is how we will meet often.
Virtual Office Hours:
*Monday - Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
*I will be available online to assist with any questions, concerns, or help during these hours.
You may also leave me an email or message on Remind after hours and
I will reply to you as soon as possible.
Liberty First Grade Syllabus - Remote Learning
During this time, we will be transitioning to distance learning, or online education. It is important that you check your teacher’s Class Page daily and weekly. Remote learning will be based upon material that has already been taught in First grade, this school year. In other words, the assignments that students will complete are extensions of what they have already learned.
March 30, 2020:
Students will be required to complete a lesson plan from the CVUSD district page. Please refer to the link on our Class Page to to access those lessons for your child.
*April 13 - May, 2020:
Students will be required to complete the lesson plans from the the assignments tab. Daily work is required.
Programs We Will Use:

- Connect Ed (Language Arts)
- Google Classroom
- St Math (Jiji)

April 13 - April 17
April 20 - April 24
April 27 - May 1
May 4 - May 8
May 11 - May 15
May 18 - May 22
May 25 - May 29 (Last week of school)
In the assignments tab, you will find a monthly calendar of all the assignments as well as a weekly schedule. There will be daily assignments posted for the students in their Google Classroom. Language Arts assignments will be done through Connect Ed (Wonders). Math assignments will br completed through Pearson Math and Google Classroom. Writing assignments will be done through Google Classroom. Optional assignments will be offered, but are not required. Students may access these through their ClassLink.
Assessments, Grades, and Feedback:
There will be assessments assigned at the end of Language Arts and Math Units to check for student understanding.
We will only record grades for summative assignments. Grades will either be immediately reported through the assigned websites, or posted in Aeries. Feedback will be given immediately.
