Hello Eagle Canyon Elementary!

My name is Mr. Armstrong and I am in my fourth year at Eagle Canyon as an intervention counselor. I attended Point Loma in San Diego for my undergraduate degree, and Cal State Fullerton/Concordia University for my Master's Degree and PPS Credential. I have been an educator for over 2 decades and recently shifted from the classroom to school counseling. This new position affords me the chance to provide academic, personal/social, and college/career counseling and focus on Social-Emotional Learning.  It has been a pleasure supporting students, families and staff here at CVUSD!  

I look forward to working with school site leaders, families, and teachers as we help Eagle Canyon students as they learn to: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe.
