Welcome to Mrs. Tru's First Grade Distant Learning Classroom!
I know that this is all new to us and it will take a lot of new learning and patience, but I know that if we work together as a team, we will be successful. I expect this week will require extra time to get through technology issues and scheduling. I will do my best (as I learn along with you) to help all families to get our new routine going for this year.
I was able to create some tool kits for all students. They were passed out on Friday. I was able to deliver the kits to Marshall, so all students would have the same tools. If you have not picked them up, please make pick up arrangements with your child's home school.
Finally, I ask that you be patient with me because I am still being trained, the district still needs to set things up for me and I will have many parents needing my help. I have been a teacher for over 20 years, so I am very used to learning new things and understand that flexibility with a dose of improvisation is vital when teaching. Know we are on the same team and that we share the same goal, which is to provide the best education for your child. I thank you ahead of time for your patience and understanding. Know let's do this!
