Dear Parents and Caregivers

Welcome to first grade 2023 - 2024. My name is Mr. Anthony Alanis, and it is my privilege to be your child's teacher for this school year. This is my 28th year teaching, and I have enjoyed immensely being in this rewarding profession. I would like to welcome you and your child to a wonderful educational experience. We are going to have a very busy, productive, and important school year.

Your involvement with your child's education is very important. I encourage you to read with your child daily. It is very important that they see good modeled reading. During the school year, the students will be learning how to read, write, problem solve, and learn different strategies that will assist them in their educational path.
