Unless your Professor specifically asks for it, personal electronic devices are not appropriate for school. Rhodes is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal electronics that are brought to school.
We understand that many Scholars have cell phones for communications purposes. Cell phones must be turned off once Scholars enter campus, and kept in backpacks or in a designated location in the classroom. Students may not make calls, text, or do other activities that are not school related during the school day. Scholars who violate this expectation may be required to place their devices in a location secured by the Professor. Repeated violations may require Scholars to check their cell phone in at the office when they arrive and pick it up at the office at the end of the day.
