RSP stands for Resource Specialist Program.  RSP is a service to assist students who have learning deficits.

RSP students in the primary grades (K-3) will receive services through the pull-out model.  This is designed so that we can "fill" in the holes that are missing to help ease the learning process.

RSP students in the elementary grades (4-6) will receive services through the inclusion or push-in model.  Students are receiving services, just in a different way.  Through this model, students are not pulled out (generally) and the rest of the class benefits from having two teachers in the classroom at the same time.

All services are done within the school day and does not count when the student is absent, on a field trip, at an assembly, or any other school function that requires the student to attend.
